Feathers Garden
Accessible. Active. Authentic.
Founded 2017
A small gem in the Savegre Valley.
Founded in 2017, Feathers Garden began as a small private project to give our tour clients a closer and more controlled bird observation experience. Over time, it evolved into a unique space open to the public.
Today it stands as one of the most accessible birding locations in San Gerardo de Dota, located near the Savegre Hotel Natural Reserve & Spa, offering a comfortable and productive environment for both birdwatching and photography.

Built with purpose
Designed for birds. Natural by definition.
Every element of Feathers Garden is built with a clear purpose: to attract birds naturally while preserving their behavior.
- Native fruiting trees and feeders bring in hummingbirds, tanagers, orioles, warblers, and woodpeckers
- Perches are positioned for clean, natural observation and photography
- The environment remains quiet, open, and constantly active
Birds are not placed or conditioned. They come and go freely, creating a more dynamic and rewarding experience.

Real Access, Real Value
The experience is intentionally simple and accessible. This combination of location, flexibility, and price makes it one of the most practical birding options in San Gerardo de Dota.
